The Garda Síochána Inspectorate today published updates on the implementation status of the 108 recommendations contained in reports 3, 4, 5, 6 and the eleven recommendations made in report 8. The Inspectorate reports covered in the update tables are: Report 3: “Policing in Ireland, Looking Forward” Report 4: “Roads Policing Review and Recommendations” Report 5: “Missing Persons Review and Recommendations” Report 6: “Resource Allocation” , and Report 8: Front-Line Supervision. The updates outline the progress on the implementation of the recommendations made in these reports as at the 31 December, 2012. An implementation update on the recommendations contained in the seventh report, “Responding to Child Sexual Abuse”, will be posted in the near future.
